2026 POWAY POP WARNER FOOTBALL AND CHEER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

NEW PRE-REGISTRATION PROCESS!! Please Read Below

For Football : Priority for team placement and jersey number will be determined by attendance at the in-person registration event. Secure your preferred number by joining early in the registration process!!

Parents, the National Pop Warner Association is in the process of migrating all local organizations to a new registration platform. The new online registration platform is intended to provide a pre-registration process that will allow you to enter participant information, choose the appropriate team based on age, upload documents such as birth certificates and electronically sign the 2026 Participant and Medical History Forms along with pre-paying via a credit and debit card transaction.

As part of this new platform there will not be a requirement for a medical screening (ie: physical). The new 2026 forms will require you to confirm your participant’s health status and take responsibility for communicating any health related concerns that PPW should be aware of. During the electronic registration you will be asked to acknowledge acceptance.

Although pre-registration is available online to streamline the process and is not mandatory, attendance to an in-person registration event remains mandatory. Details on location and time below.

Registration Fees for the 2026 Season are as follows:

Flag Football: $190.00

Flag Cheer: $300.00 (includes Uniform)

Tackle Football: $500.00

Cheer: $500.00 (includes Uniform)

Sibling Discount: $30 per child

PRE-REGISTER

  1. All fields on the electronic registration will need to be completed. If there are no pertinent details in the health related questions regarding injuries or allergies, please indicate “None”.
  2. Please have a PNG, JPEG or PDF of the participants’ Birth Certificate ready to upload.
  3. Online pre-registration will require Full payment taken via credit or debit card, a processing fee will apply.
  4. Upon completion of the online pre-registration process you will receive a confirmation email with your receipt for payment. 
  5. Please go back to the My Account page in Sports Connect online and view your participant’s profiles. You will see a link to Sign Electronic Forms.
  6. Click Sign Electronic Forms (System will log you out and request that you sign back in.) Sign back in and go to My Account. Your participant should be listed.
  7. NO NEED TO PRINT ANY FORMS. 
  8. To complete the registration process, you must attend an in-person registration event and bring a copy of the birth certificate.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

  1. All players (even pre-registered) need to attend an in-person registration event to confirm registration details and be sized for football equipment.
  2. If you have not pre-registered:
    • Use the links below the Registration Fees on this page to download the 2026 Participant Contract, Parental Consent Form and 2026 Physical Fitness Medical History Form.
    • Print the 2026 blank forms, complete, sign and bring to the in-person registration event.
    • Payments during an in-person registration event can be made with cash, check, credit card or Venmo.
  3. All players attending in-person registration need to bring a copy of their Birth Certificate.
  4. To apply for Financial Aid or Delayed Payment, players need to attend an in-person registration and contact our treasurer at treasurer.powaypw@gmail.com.

REFUND POLICY

Q: What is the “REFUND POLICY” in Poway Pop Warner?

A: All requests for refunds must be in writing to the Board. Refunds shall be made (or not made) in strict accordance with the REFUND POLICY as written in the Poway Pop Warner Policies & Procedures which can be found below or  by selecting ADMIN PAGE on this website.  Participation fees will be reviewed and assessed by the PPW board prior to season start based on the associations operating budget. All registrants, both football and cheer, may apply for a refund of up to 50% of the paid registration fee prior to June 15.  Fifty percent (50%) of the registration fee is non-refundable. A $25.00 processing fee will apply on all refunds. No refunds shall be authorized/issued on or after June 15. **Military families who are unable to maintain participation in PPW at any time due to their obligation(s) to the US Military are entitled to a full refund at any time, if required. A copy of the reassignment orders shall be required to process this type of refund.
